Orta goes deeper with indigo foam finish I-Core

Turkey-based denim producer Orta Anadolu has announced new developments with the I-Core indigo foam finishing method it has been using for some years. It is using the technology to achieve “deeper, green-cast shades with a flat optic for contemporary raw looks”.
Applied directly to the fabric’s surface, the dyeing method is meant to give an indigo-coated look, generating “a more exaggerated contrast on seam areas” through wear. The idea is to offer collaborators the opportunity to “create defined hi-lo contrast effects”.
Orta is a long-term partner of Nature Coatings, which makes “one-for-one [carbon black] replacement” BioBlack TX from 100% bio-based resources, such as FSC-certified wood waste.
