Denim industry "godfather" Adriano Goldschmied, who relaunched his Daily Blue label, first established in 1974, late last year, is due to host a day-long wash workshop at Italian textile chemicals group Soko’s innovation hub in Florence on June 15.

Mr Goldschmied will lead participants in experimenting on fabric samples using Soko’s Stardust and Lumia products. Daily Blue notably incorporated Stardust for the finishing of this year’s entire autumn-winter collection.

The collaborators said their work together is meant to “highlight Daily Blue’s design and innovation within the fashion trend landscape, while utilising Soko’s products to process jeans in a cleaner and more efficient way.”
