Sharabati’s new spinning facility willl create 2,000 jobs

Egypt-headquartered denim mill Sharabati has announced its new production facility - which will create jobs fo 2,000 people - is almost complete.

The new location includes two spinning halls, a warping and sizing hall, a gabardine weaving hall and a shuttle loom weaving hall. 

The first spinning hall will house 15 splicing machines for producing Lycra and dual core weft yarn as well as 15 specialising in producing poly-cotton yarn. 

In the second hall, the machines will produce compact and carded yarn, while in the third are three warping machines and two sizing machines.

Additionally, there are four large cotton storage facilities.

Sharabati said: “This substantial investment further demonstrates Sharabati's commitment to expanding its operations and enhancing production capacity with superior quality, particularly in spinning and yarn production.”
