AGI Denim commits to Good Earth Cotton

Karachi-based producer AGI Denim (Artistic Garment Industries) has revealed it is now using traceable, regenerative cotton fibres from Good Earth Cotton to make its fabrics.
The “climate positive” claims behind the cotton are verifiable via FibreTrace’s end-to-end traceability technology, which is based on a GOTS-approved luminescent pigment solution, not unlike that used to secure currency and passports.
“This partnership is another tangible step forward in our commitment to responsible and sustainable practices,” commented executive director at AGI Denim, Hasan Javed. “We are proud to be part of this movement towards a better and more transparent future for fashion.”
Last month, the denim manufacturer announced it had achieved gold-level LEED certification from spinning through garment production, which it said at the time made it "the only textile company worldwide" to do so.
